Standup Loop is built to store as little data as practical for private daily standup rotation rooms.
Last updated: May 10, 2026
Data stored
Standup Loop stores room names, member names, badges, colors, access settings, rotation events, sessions, lockouts, and master admin data needed to run the service.
Secrets
Passwords, recovery codes, and session tokens are stored as hashes. One-time secrets are shown only when created or regenerated.
Cookies
Standup Loop uses functional cookies for room access, master admin access, and language preference. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention
Rotation event history is kept for up to 30 days and may then be deleted automatically. Expired sessions may also be cleaned up automatically.
Hosting
Standup Loop runs on a server managed by the operator. Operational logs may exist at the server level for reliability and abuse prevention.
Your choices
Room admins can delete rooms and rotate secrets. If you need help with data related to a room, contact the operator with the room public ID.
Security
Standup Loop uses hashed secrets, HttpOnly cookies, origin checks, rate limits, security headers, and unlisted random room IDs.
Optional identity claim
In a room you can say which member you are. That choice is stored only in your browser (local storage) and sent with your live connection so teammates see you as online and your actions carry your name. Nothing about it is stored on the server beyond the live session.
Contact
For privacy or security questions, contact the operator of this Standup Loop deployment.
